"I was born in despair, tightly entangled by evil spirits, struggling and tearing my soul in the blood. I would rather be chopped into pieces and stuffed back into the womb, than get lost in this illusory world!" A Deathbringer called "Summoning of Flesh" was described in the "Born From Gore" demo released in 1995! He uses the most cruel and bloody words to expose this horrible death world for you. Come on, give your soul to me, let me baptize it with the most fanatical blood, sacrifice it to the devil, and let you live forever in the scalding blood! ! !

This is my favorite album by Mexican death metal stalwarts The Chasm, by a wide margin. All the meandering, proggy excursions of previous releases have been brutally curtailed in favor of mountains on mountains of riffs, and the result is a release that is tighter and more focused than any of their output in the last decade+.
Consider my interest renewed. Patiently awaiting the next one. Ghuughra

I can't formally retract the erroneous 2.0 I gave this back in 2018, but I can say that, five years on, I've come around to this record in a big way. Quality death metal with great atmosphere without being "atmospheric" (read: boring) metal. Diabolus in Muzaka

Old school Oregon death metal, solid stuff like Obituary !!! Slowly we Rot kinda vibe, doomy, heavy and earth-shaking cave-deep growling, fun stuff all along!!! Can't miss, Obi-fans need to have this one !! sachavonkarl74

I'm kicking my own ass for somehow missing this when it released. Expertly arranged death metal with kick drums that could demolish a high-rise. zirtonic
